Redefining Hong Kong Series 2022/23
Global Family Office Hub: How do family offices invest through Hong Kong?
Nov 10, 2022 - In-person at JW Marriott | Nov 11, 2022 - Virtual Event
Asia-Pacific will be home to over one-third of the world’s billionaire population, the second largest wealth hub by 2026. Till then, APAC will remain the fastest growing region for Ultra High-Net-Worth Individual (UHNWI) and High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) population. Among them, a significant wealthy population is expected to arise from China, ranked as the third growth engine of UHNWI globally. Yet, China and the region do not have a long-standing history of wealth management and family offices. With the rapid wealth accumulation and the changing mindset in wealth allocation, the demand for single family offices, multi family offices, private banking, and other related services are on the rise. How is the landscape taking shape and what can Hong Kong, a traditional financial and wealth hub, offer to the Asian-grown new wealth and European and American multi-generation wealthy families?
The South China Morning Post presents the two-day event as part of our Redefining Hong Kong series, to connect the local and global wealth management communities to discuss and explore the future of wealth management and Hong Kong as one of the prominent family office hubs. Across the two-day sessions, we will be joined by experts in private banking, family offices, philanthropic institutions, asset management and legal services to discuss, network and explore the wayforward in the city.
